Google is gearing up to make your web browsing safer and more accessible. A new feature is on the horizon for the next Chrome release (Chrome 117), and it’s all about keeping users in the loop when their browser extensions disappear.

According to The Verge, Oliver Dunk, a developer relations engineer for Chrome extensions, spilled the beans on this addition.

He stated that it’s designed to help users stay on top of things when extensions vanish because developers remove them, they break the rules of the Chrome Web Store, or they simply turn out to be bad news.
